WPURO : WATER PURIFICATION UNIT
A MODULAR PRODUCTION SYSTEM ADAPTED TO YOUR NEEDS
Water treatment plants are a versatile and adaptable response to the need for potable water, whether from surface water, groundwater, brackish water or even seawater. Their ability to treat different water sources and make them fit for human consumption is an essential aspect of their usefulness.
These units are designed to handle high concentrations of dissolved solids, with a maximum limit of 45,000 ppm. Their flexibility is also reflected in their production capacities, which range from 1 to 50 cubic meters per hour (m3/hr) for containerized units and 2 m3/hr for trailer-mounted mobile unit. This adaptability makes them essential solutions for responding to potable water needs in a variety of contexts, from emergency situations and small-scale projects to deployments at living bases and military camps.
Each water production unit is meticulously designed to meet specific needs, considering the nature of the pollutants present and the volume of water to be treated. To achieve this objective, several processes are integrated:
- Physico-chemical treatment: This process involves the use of chemical and physical reactions to remove impurities from the raw water.
- Filtration through different types of media: A variety of filter media until ultra filtration are used to remove particles and contaminants from the water, providing effective purification.
- Reverse osmosis treatment: This technique use a semi-permeable membrane to remove impurities, ions and undesirable molecules from the water, producing high-quality water.
- Disinfection: This process aims to eliminate bacteria, viruses and pathogenic micro-organisms present in the water, ensuring it is safe for human consumption.
- Remineralisation: This stage involves reintroducing beneficial minerals into the treated water, improving its quality and taste.
These combined processes ensure that raw water is effectively transformed into a clean, safe source of drinking water that meets the most stringent quality standards.
The water production units are specially designed to meet the needs of living bases, military camps and emergency situations. Their versatile design makes them ideally suited to these demanding environments:
- Trailer-mounted or containerized: This flexibility means they can be deployed quickly and easily, providing a mobile solution for temporary operations or frequent travel.
- Autonomous operation by generator or other power source: These units are equipped with integrated generators, ensuring continuous operation independent of external power sources, making them ideal for remote areas or situations where power supplies are limited. They can also be adapted to work with photovoltaic panels or other energy sources.
- Outdoor installation in all conditions: Their robustness and weather resistance enable them to operate effectively in a variety of outdoor environments, including hot, cold, humid and arid climates.
This versatile configuration ensures constant availability of drinking water, even in the most difficult conditions, helping to meet the essential needs of populations in critical situations.
